Risk officers must have excellent quantitative and analytical skills, along with the ability to apply those skills across a variety of business processes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESDesign and implement an overall risk management and business continuity process for the organization. Perform risk assessment: analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company. Performing risk evaluation: evaluating the group and its' subsidiaries previous handling of risks and comparing potential risks with criteria set by the group / subsidiary. Perform control mapping: map the controls to the risks and evaluate its effectiveness. Risk reporting: creating risk reports for business heads to understand the risks that might affect their departments. Perform business impact analysis: analyse the impact overtime for time critical services and collect the minimum requirements and identify single point of failures. Conduct business continuity and disaster recovery plan tests and awareness: facilitate tests and awareness sessions for BCPs and DRPs. Perform ESG material subject data collection and analysis. QUALIFICATIONSEXPERIENCE4 - 6 years' experience in risk assessments or similar job.
