Job Purpose
The Senior Officer – Standard Assurance is responsible for ensuring that the organization's assets are managed effectively and with the highest quality. This includes implementing quality assurance programs, conducting audits, and reporting on audit results. The Senior Officer must stay up-to-date on the latest trends in asset management to ensure asset quality is maintained.
Key Accountabilities

Data Collection, Analysis, and Reporting:

Gather data on asset performance metrics such as equipment downtime, maintenance history, and energy consumption.
Utilize data analysis tools to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues.
Prepare detailed reports on asset performance and reliability.
Support management with regular and ad-hoc reporting as required.
Support the implementation of condition monitoring technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, etc.).

Asset Inspection, Assurance, and Audits:

Support planning and execution of asset inspections.
Identify defects, wear, and other asset degradation indicators.
Implement quality assurance programs.
Document inspection findings and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct asset audits to verify compliance with standards and procedures.
Monitor and follow up on corrective and improvement actions.
Coordinate with responsible persons to ensure issues are addressed and standards are met after actions.

Risk Assessment

Contribute to risk assessments by providing technical data and analysis.
Identify potential failure modes and their consequences.
Recommend risk mitigation measures.

Maintenance Planning

Assist in developing and updating maintenance plans and schedules.
Generate work orders and spare parts requests.
Coordinate maintenance activities with operations and production teams.

Compliance

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies, such as ISO 55000.
Maintain asset documentation and records.
Support compliance audits and assessments.

Education / Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research, Business Process Management, Industrial Engineering, or Hospitality Management.
Minimum of 5 years of experience.
