Role Location: Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain Department: Operations Employment Type: Full Time The Role & Key Responsibilities: The Fund Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the portfolio allocated and will strive to be a one point contact to the Investment Manager(s) and investors of the funds. Job role will include but is not limited to the below mentioned items: Monitor cash activity of the funds in your portfolio and prepare broker/cash reconciliations on a periodic basis. Liaise with prime brokers and Investment Managers to resolve cash breaks. Monitor portfolio positions on a periodic basis and alert your manager or Investment Manager on any break. Process corporate actions to reconcile cash accounts and positions. Independently price the Investment positions on a monthly, weekly, quarterly, annually, or daily basis. Ensure reporting deliverables are produced to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner. Ensure reporting deliverables are produced in line with the appropriate accounting standards, fund documentation, local regulations, policies, and procedures. Prepare Net Asset Valuation for the funds on a monthly, weekly, quarterly, annually, or daily basis as required by the Investment Managers. Process subscription and redemption activities in a timely manner. Coordinate documentations for capital activities to ensure AML compliance. Build excellent working relationships with clients. Ensure all work undertaken complies with the client's documentation, relevant regulatory requirements, and anti-money laundering regulations. Liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion of audits. Follow Company procedures at all times. Collaborate with other managers in the office to ensure the timely completion of deliverables. Provide cover to other teams if required. Satisfaction and retention of clients falling under your portfolio. Timeliness and accuracy of the work falling under your responsibility. NAV accuracy falling under your responsibility. Internal controls and monitoring of the SSAE18 projects. Punctuality and work ethics. Skills Required: Academic background with desirable qualifications/certifications in Accounting / Finance.1-2 years experience in a similar role incorporating the above functions. Technical skills.
