About Us: We are a dynamic financial services company with a mission to redefine Islamic banking and fintech solutions globally. As Australia's largest Islamic financial firm, we are expanding operations into Europe and the GCC, and we're seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the development of our cutting-edge fintech app and build out our entire technology stack to support our ambitious growth. Position Overview The CTO will be responsible for shaping and executing our technology vision, strategy, and roadmap. This leadership role requires a hands-on innovator capable of scaling our technology infrastructure while delivering world-class financial solutions. You will oversee the development and expansion of our fintech app, ensure seamless integration across our digital platforms, and future-proof our systems for rapid global expansion. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership
• Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with the company's business goals.
• Build a scalable, secure, and innovative tech infrastructure to support growth in the fintech and Islamic banking space.
• Collaborate with C-suite executives to shape strategic initiatives and drive digital transformation. Team Leadership & Development
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering and technology team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
• Implement robust development and operational processes to ensure efficiency and scalability. Product Development
• Lead the development of our fintech app, focusing on user experience, performance, and scalability.
• Drive product innovation to maintain a competitive edge in the Islamic finance sector.
• Oversee the integration of digital banking, investment, and payment functionalities into the app. Technology Infrastructure
• Design and implement a secure, scalable, and cost-efficient tech stack.
• Ensure robust data management, cybersecurity, and compliance with Sharia principles and regulatory standards.
• Oversee partnerships with third-party vendors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and integrations. Operations & Governance
• Establish governance protocols for technology implementation, development, and risk management.
• Monitor and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Regularly report to the board and executive team on technology progress and initiatives. Experience
• 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with 5+ years in a fintech or financial services environment.
• Proven experience developing and scaling fintech apps or digital banking solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance in finance.
• Experience managing teams across multiple locations and time zones.
