**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication.
- Repair and replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
- Conduct inspections to identify equipment performance issues and recommend solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members and provide guidance to junior mechanics as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy machinery technology.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a heavy machinery mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license;
