- Paint walls and ceilings using spray equipment
- Perform touch-up work, correct imperfections, and patch holes
- Use ladders and scaffolding to reach high areas
- Mask off windows, doors, and other surfaces
- Use drop cloths to cover floors, fixtures, and furnishings
- Dry brush woodwork and ceilings
- Measure and calculate materials needed and appropriate quantities
