Establish and ensure ‘order to cash’ process is fully functional in the company as per GAC Group policy.

Act as a control point between Sales and Customer/Principal to ensure service provided are fully secured for final recovery as per credit control policy. Establish credit terms and invoice dispatch are well documented prior to job opening.

Act as a control point between customer service and operations team and ensure ‘order processing’ is strictly followed as per company policy. Take lead to ensure the jobs delivered are billing ready.

Ensure timely and accurate billing as per the secured quote and dispatch of invoice is in accordance with the service agreement with customer. Make sure billing and dispatch of invoices are evenly followed throughout.

Ensure operating income is in synchronisation with sales generated at any period.

Ensure KPI established for billing is fully complied with; perform root cause analysis if delays occur.

Ensure the number of open jobs at any point of time is within the threshold established as per company policy.

Participate in credit control to ensure disputes are resolved within the KPI limits.

Analytical skills - ability to analyse and resolve issues.

Communication skills - Lead communicator towards reporting managers and customer.

Leadership skills - Team leader for the entire team.

Business knowledge - of the freight industry and financial activities relating to freight.

Technical accounting skills - knowledge of accounting standards, Bahrain VAT law and IFRS.

Organisation, planning & prioritisation skills - to meet deadlines and group reporting timeline.

Problem resolving skills - to ensure internal and external disputes/differences are resolved.

Flexible - To move around, meet people, speak, and ensure the function is running as expected.

University graduate (B Com or M Com).

Proficient with MS Office, particularly advanced Excel, analytical processing tools.

Excellent English communication skills.

Minimum 4-5 years in accounts and preferably at least 2 years in the freight industry
