The Country Product Head is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as exercise control over resources, policy formation, and planning
- Utilize specialty knowledge to review, analyze, and develop beyond existing solutions
- Develop plans and execute functional strategies for large/complex country, multiple countries, or business requiring coordination and integration across units, as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within region/business
- Ensure solid partnerships and cross selling opportunities across range of products such as banking products, cash management, foreign exchange, credit, capital markets, and wealth management to deliver comprehensive services and solutions for clients
- Establish and maintain relationships with risk, business risk, compliance, and other relevant groups within Citi, as well as develop and ensure execution of the business strategy, and manage risk and compliance
- Partner with other regional and country leaders to share best practices and drive business strategies, solutions, and client centric solutions to differentiate Citi in the marketplace and achieve substantial growth targets for the business
- Engage in internal and external negotiations**Qualifications**:

- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience managing in a large, complex and matrixed organization
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with the industry, banking, and investment products
- Working knowledge of different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function
- Practical experience of multiple business cycles
- Knowledge of industry and competitor products/services
- Working knowledge of strategic direction of the function within the business as well as a solid conceptual/practical grounding in function and/or area of expertise
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Demonstrated internal and external negotiation skills
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Own the Cash P&L and drive business initiatives jointly with cross functional partners
- Assess TTS payments, collections, liquidity management and cards market and competitive positioning.
- Work across all cash products including Payments, Receivables, Liquidity Management, Wholesale Cards and Solution Sales
- Own the product design, prototyping, validate, execution and commercialization of new product concepts
- Driving / Project Managing product development activities across operations, technology, client delivery and external vendors
- Build market and industry knowledge and be creative about introducing new feature, functionality, user experience enhancements to the product suite
- Creating cash product positioning to specifically address the needs of target market verticals
- Participating in client pitch and proposal process to provide product expertise

Manage new product engagement with clients. Work with Sales and Coverage to communicate product value proposition
- Interact with the regional/global teams on product development and projects
- Steer the business and provide senior oversight
- Get involved in client pitches/ RFP’s and provide expertise as a product specialist.
