Chiller Technician

At least 5-7 years of experience in the same field preferably with in construction or MEP sector.
- BAS/ DDC controls experience and basic electrical knowledge is required.
- Able to work as a team member or solely.
- Ability to read detailed technical documents.
- Knowledge of Sound attenuators, VAV & CAV units.Responsibilities:
- Installs, maintains and services chilled water system like chillers, pump, pressurization unit, close control unites, CHW type FUC, AHU, cassette type units etc.
- Installs, Maintains and services DX systems like VRF, Close Control Units, Split Units, FAHU ducted split units etc.
- Installs, Maintains and services exhaust fans like staircase pressurization fan, smoke fan, fresh air fan, toilet fans etc.
- Identifies maintenance risk and diagnoses electrical & mechanical faults for equipment & HVAC systems.
- Cleans, adjusts, overhauls HVAC equipment; replaces/ Repairs defective parts during overhauling.
- Performs emergency reports promptly and efficiently.
- Monitors set points, pressure and temperature levels.
- Keeps daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Participates in safety inspections, job safety analyses and safety meetings.
- Tests new equipment/ repair equipment to design specifications.
- Establishes service by studying system requirements, orders and gathers components and parts, completing installation, performing acceptance tests.
- Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
- Works within the commissioning and start up group and will at times be required to function as commissioning and start up technicians for other equipment as necessary.
- Performs related duties as directed by the applicable Foreman or Project Manager.

Contract length: 36 months
**Salary**: BD200.000 - BD250.000 per month
