As a Lifeguard, you are responsible for supervising and ensuring the safety of swimmers to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Lifeguard will also be required to fulfill regular cleaning duties. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Your attentiveness and commitment to safe practices will facilitate enjoyable aquatic and waterside experiences for our guests.

1. To ensure that all water areas are protected during operational hours by practicing preventative lifeguarding in accordance with the International Lifeguard Training Program.

2. Understand and follow all club house Standard Operating Procedures, and Emergency Action Plans.
- Supervise and ensure safety of swimmers.
- Ensure guests feel safe in the beach and pool area.
- Ensure swimmers follow safe swimming practice; enforce and adhere to pool and beach rules and regulations.
- Follow emergency action plan and procedures when required.
- Perform water rescues, First Aid, and CPR when needed.
- Enforce facility rules and provide crowd control in a friendly manner throughout the aquatic areas as necessary.
- Exude a friendly, helpful and cheerful attitude while communicating effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Assist in the cleanliness and the daily upkeep of the pool area.
- Guard and safeguard all Guests and members using the pool facility
- Ensure Guests are aware of all services and activities available at the pool & Beach.
- Clean all areas of the pools and beach and walkways, both in and above the water, including all pool furniture and paths
- Ensure that all the water sport and safety equipment is in excellent operating condition.
- Report any safety concerns to management.

Undertake any other duties as appropriate within their job purpose, as require by their department head from time to time.
