The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems and other HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment throughout the Movenpick Resort. The supervisor will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all HVAC systems operate efficiently and effectively to maintain a comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision and Leadership**:

- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of A/C technicians.
- Assign tasks and monitor the progress of the team to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- **Maintenance and Repair**:

- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and installation of all air conditioning and HVAC systems in the resort.
- Ensure regular inspection and preventative maintenance schedules are followed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and recommend solutions.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure all work is performed to the highest standards and complies with safety regulations and codes.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections of completed work to ensure systems are functioning properly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- **Inventory and Supplies**:

- Manage the inventory of HVAC parts and supplies.
- Order new equipment and parts as needed, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
- Maintain proper documentation for all purchases and inventory levels.
- **Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure HVAC services meet the needs of guests and operations.
- Work closely with the Chief Engineer to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
- Participate in meetings and communicate effectively with the management team.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety training and drills for the team.
- Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards in the workplace.

Qualifications:

- **Education and Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in HVAC technology or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience working in a hotel or resort environment is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
- **Leadership Skills**:

- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and develop team members.
- **Other Requirements**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
