**Job Role: Finance Manager & Controller**

The Finance Manager & Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial health, integrity, and stability of our organization. This individual is responsible for strategic financial planning, effective financial management, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining accurate financial records through robust internal controls.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Planning and Analysis**:

- Develop financial strategies, forecasts, and budgets to guide the organization's financial decisions.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, evaluate performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial goals and strategies.
- **Financial Reporting**:

- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Present financial data to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- **Accounting Operations**:

- Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of all financial transactions.
- **Internal Controls and Compliance**:

- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and ensure data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee audits and financial reviews, coordinating with external auditors as necessary.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance with all required regulations.
- **Budgeting and Cost Control**:

- Create and monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize financial resources.
- Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and recommend corrective actions.
- **Cash Flow and Treasury Management**:

- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.
- Optimize working capital and manage relationships with financial institutions.
- **Risk Management**:

- Identify and manage financial risks to protect the organization's assets and interests.
- Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and enhance financial performance.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure departmental effectiveness and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- **Relationship Management**:

- Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, auditors, and other key stakeholders.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial operations.

**Education and Experience**:

- **Degree**: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
- **Professional Certification**: Certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) are highly advantageous.
- **Experience**: At least 15 years of relevant experience in financial management and accounting, with a proven track record in a senior finance role.
- **Skills**:

- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Strategic thinking with the capability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Excellent communication skills to present financial information effectively to stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and tax laws.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
