**What's the role?**:
As the Finance & Operations Manager, you will lead the day-to-day business activities of Hilti’s support functions including Finance, Administration, Logistics, Repair, Customer Service & Hilti Stores.

**What does the role involve?**:
In his role, you will be responsible for the monthly closing of financial records by providing month end information and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. You will liaise with Hilti’s Share Service Center (SSC) and Global Treasury teams to ensure postings are done as per set guidelines and ensure efficient liquidity management. As the Finance leader for the Bahrain team, you will also lead annual and quarterly strategic and financial planning processes.

The Finance & Operations Manager with Hilti will lead all receivables, credit control & procurement activities for Hilti Bahrain. This includes setting monthly collection targets for the sales & collection teams, meeting with key customers to build relationships and negotiating with our suppliers. In addition, you will also be responsible for compliance and audit. On the audit side, you will handle external (finance/indirect tax) and internal audits and be responsible for the VAT return process. And from the compliance side, you will inherit the role of Hilti’s Local Compliance Officer, meaning you will ensure compliance with local regulations and all company policies and processes. You will also be responsible for liaising with government authorities for relevant approvals and processes (e.g., Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism for Commercial Registration, Bahrain Customs).

We are looking for someone who not only has a strong financial background, but also has a passion to lead all other support functions in the business. From a Logistics standpoint, you will be required to monitor obsolescence by performing material portfolio reviews, weekly material forecasts & order replenishment. In addition, you will be responsible to lead and develop Hilti Bahrain’s Logistics, Customer Service, Hilti Store teams. Finally, from a HR point of view you will lead the onboarding and offboarding process for all Hilti Bahrain employees (including visa processing), while being responsible for providing changes on monthly payroll.

**What you need is**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics or Engineering
- Professional Qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA), Master’ Degree or MBA
- Excellent analytical skills and high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Previous team leadership or management experience
- Strong communication skills, ability to synthesize and present analysis results
- A self-starter who is able to plan, organize and take initiative to meet job objectives and deadlines independently
- Can-do attitude, driven and passionate about work
- Desire to pursue a career in Finance, including roles outside UAE
