Job Description for Tailor Shop

Position: Tailor

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform alterations and repairs on garments, ensuring a perfect fit for clients.
- Create custom clothing items based on customer specifications, including measuring clients, selecting fabrics, and designing patterns.
- Provide expert advice on fabric selection and garment care.
- Maintain a high level of craftsmanship using various sewing techniques, both by hand and machine.
- Offer exceptional customer service, understanding client needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Manage fabric and supply inventory, keeping the workspace organized and clean.
- Inspect finished garments for quality control, ensuring they meet the shop's standards.
- Efficiently manage time to meet deadlines, especially during busy periods.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in sewing and garment construction.
- Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in alterations and custom sewing.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
