**Job Overview**

The Quality Control (QC) Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all construction, manufacturing, or production work adheres to established quality standards and specifications. The QC Inspector performs inspections, identifies defects or non-conformities, and collaborates with project teams to implement corrective actions. This role ensures that projects meet regulatory compliance, client expectations, and industry standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Conduct routine inspections of materials, components, and workmanship on-site or in production facilities.
- Verify that work complies with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project requirements.
- Perform tests on materials and products using appropriate tools and equipment to ensure quality standards are met.
- Inspect incoming materials to verify compliance with purchase orders and technical specifications.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Prepare and submit inspection and quality reports to supervisors and project managers.
- Document and track quality-related issues and corrective actions taken.
- **Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASTM, ASME).
- Monitor adherence to project quality plans and procedures.
- Report any deviations or quality issues promptly and recommend corrective measures.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and contractors to resolve quality-related issues.
- Provide guidance and support to site teams regarding quality standards and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and third-party inspectors during audits or quality reviews.
- **Problem-Solving and Corrective Actions**:

- Identify defects, non-conformities, or process inefficiencies and propose solutions.
- Work with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions and ensure compliance.
- Conduct follow-up inspections to verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.
- **Training and Awareness**:

- Promote quality awareness among employees and contractors through training or briefings.
- Provide guidance on quality control practices and ensure all personnel understand quality requirements.
- **Project Support**:

- Assist in the preparation of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) plans for projects.
- Support the project team in achieving quality objectives and maintaining timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) or industry-specific certifications (e.g., ASNT, AWS, API) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a QC Inspector in construction, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
