**Role overview**

We are looking for an ambitious UX Researcher to deliver the best enjoyable experience for Calo app users, making it as straightforward as possible. As well as researching user behavior and performance, you’ll also work with the design team to implement design choices to improve user experience.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Conduct user interviews to gather information about their requirements and to find out what needs researching, designing, or usability testing
- Develop deep domain knowledge of the product area and how to solve its problems
- Run the research that helps teams to create modern, simpler, and better solutions
- Get involved in sketching, prototyping, and on occasion user testing, before passing the design onto the development team
- Translate business problems to human-centered problems by strategizing and positioning research plans within product roadmaps, business rationale, and stakeholder priorities
- Take ownership of user testing, building a community of users to help test future features
- Facilitates organization-wide discussions, ensuring that everyone has an opportunity to share their opinion and be heard, and that discussion outcomes tie to stated goals
- Plans and executes user research, summarizes findings, and creates recommendations. Has a practical knowledge of a range of research techniques
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team, including Product Managers, Product Designers, Product Analysts, and Software Engineers

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline, with a minimum two years of proven experience as a UX Researcher, preferably in a startup

**Knowledge and competency**
- Experience implementing design choices based on user feedback
- Experience working with Product Managers, Designers, and Software Engineers to improve the usability of products and other features
- A mixture of creative and technical skills
- Excellent team working skills
- Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English
- Solid research and documentation skills

- Strong communicator
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity
- Pleasant personality
