An engineering graduate with a minimum of 12 + years of experience in a similar field in the Gulf region, specifically in the Carpentry / Joinery & FitOuts of Building Construction Industry.
**Job description is given below;**.
The Operations Manager will provide leadership to the operations team which includes tendering and execution of Carpentry Division and ensure that Clients' requirements are met, revenue and profit objectives are met, and operational efficiencies are achieved.
The Manager is also responsible for handling the overall administration of the Carpentry Division.
**Operations Management**:
- Guiding production in charge to prepare the work schedule and its monitoring.
- Assigning the duties to Production In-charge and site supervisory staff.
- Preparing the final quotation & Preparing the final JCE.
- Approval of subcontractors and suppliers' periodic invoices.
- Getting approvals for variation of projects based on the revised scope.
- Attending the progress review meetings of various projects at the site as per the schedule.
- Approval of material purchase request.
- Final price negotiation with supplier and client.
- Evaluation of the reporting staff and workers and preparation of recommendations to higher management.
- Fosters a culture that ensures excellent customer service by confronting issues openly and quickly, and resolving customer complaints/dissatisfaction.
- Manages Production, Supervisors, carpenters, and painters and assesses training needs by selecting training programs for team members.
- Participate in the preparation and administration of the project budget; submit budget recommendations; monitor expenditures; prepare cost estimates; submit justifications for equipment; monitor budget expenditures.
- Responsible for the organization reports, maintaining vendors and customer relationships, ensuring Safe and Comfortable Working Environments and complies with all safety and statutory requirements.
- Carry out operations and reviews to the agreed standard
**Financial Management**
- Manages to and achieves revenue and profitability goals set for the operations department
- Addresses elevated budgetary issues when they arise.
**Salary**: BD1,000.000 - BD1,200.000 per month
