**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems, including material, labor, and equipment.
- Conduct quantity takeoffs and cost analysis for mechanical works.
- Develop project budgets and track costs to ensure the project stays within financial constraints.
- Assist in tender preparation and bid evaluation.
- Manage contract documentation, variations, and claims related to mechanical works.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor project progress, reporting on financial status and any potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and sustainability standards.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator QS in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection).
- Familiarity with estimating software and construction contracts.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
