**Job Summary**

The Financial Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in the financial management and strategic planning for Al Abraaj Restaurants Group, analyzing financial data, preparing financial forecasts, and assisting in decision-making processes to optimize financial performance and support growth initiatives. The analyst will work closely with various departments to enhance financial controls and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Financial Analysis -**Conduct in-depth financial analysis of restaurant operations and overall group performance, prepare variance analysis and identify trends in revenues and expense, and develop and maintain financial models to support planning and forecasting efforts.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting -**Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, collaborate with department heads to gather inputs and consolidate budget proposals, and monitor performance against the budget and provide insights on deviations.
- **Reporting -**Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights, and support the preparation of reports for stakeholders and regulatory compliance.
- **Financial Planning -**Participate in strategic planning initiatives and long-term financial planning, conduct scenario analysis to assess potential financial impacts of strategic decisions, and provide decision support for capital expenditures and new business initiatives.
- **Cost Management -**Monitor and analyze cost structures to identify opportunities for operational efficiencies, and work with procurement and operations teams to optimize supply chain costs.
- **Collaboration -**Liaise with other departments (e.g. operations, marketing) to gather necessary financial data and support cross-functional initiatives, and provide training and guidance on financial performance metrics and reporting standards.
- **Compliance -**Ensure financial practices align with local regulations and group policies, and assist in audits and maintain required documentation.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.
- Partially or Fully Qualified ACCA, CMA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant sector.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial management software (e.g., ERP systems).
