Transaction Capture Analyst

Processing of high volume transactions of average $5MM per deal under time pressure of Money Transfer deadlines using both automated and manual systems. Handling all internal and external customer inquiries quickly and within accepted timeframe. Perform all necessary bookings, accounting and reporting requirements for various countries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Verify and authorize FI and MM deals in Flexcube within 30 minutes from having the deals booked in eDealer.
- Check the confirmation matching queues on the confirmation matching system and investigate any mismatches found.
- Check and report the unconfirmed deals and take necessary escalation actions.
- Check the daily maturity report and ensure that all outgoing payments are generated and settled and in case of exceptions justification is in place or investigation is performed.
- Update brokerage excel sheet and accounts for the brokerage at month end and perform Islamic Structured Fee Reconciliation Confirmation prepared
- Check brokerage payment/reconciliation and offset payments for invoices received.
- Post financial data entries in the systems for all branches.
- Notify and follow-up with Treasury/counterparties “as applicable” for deals without disposal instructions.
- Prepare and check manual confirmation for products handled by the department, when required.
- Prepare and check cash flow report for late deals and handle cash flow enquiries.
- Check maturity reports for all MM/ LD / FX deals and ensure that payments are generated by the system / prepared manually based on customer’s disposal instructions.
- File deal slips, system reports, brokers statements and source media.
- Check deposits maturity schedule.
- Perform the confirmation manual matching process for certain Markets Products.
- Check deposits pay/receive instructions.
- Print and check incoming telexes inquiries and SSIs and ensure that the necessary actions and maintenances are performed by the relevant units.
- Check all suspense accounts and BOD and EOD and investigate any exceptions timely.
- Review pending B/V report and do the necessary follow ups
- Reconciliation between e-dealer and Flexcube
- Pass monthly income accounting entries.
- Prepare and authorize manual payments for matured FX and MM deals as required.
- Participate in handling reengineering and system implementation projects.
- Prepare transfers, payment orders, advice telexes and receive telexes as required
- Check MIS reports for cancelled deals FX/MM/FI/Derivatives
- Check KPI / Brokerage on daily and monthly basis.
- Proofing accounts balances in Flexcube for Derivatives on monthly basis for all manual accounts.
- Check Central Bank cash flow reports for all daily LCY payments to be effected manually for the countries.
- Processing of Financial futures, Forward Rate Agreements and Interest Rate Swaps.
- Check financial futures entries and daily/weekly reconcilement
- Post Revaluation entries in Flexcube (as necessary)
- Reconcile Subgl daily/ weekly upload.
- Review daily derivative reconciliation reports received from PCU and investigate any mismatches..
- Ensure that all customer inquiries are handled on time.
- Investigate cases and follow up on pending issues/exceptions.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 5 years experience in Treasury Operations
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
