Job Overview

The Financial Analyst role at RESO involves performing day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and preparing financial reports. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Handle routine accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and assist in the compilation of financial reports and supporting documentation.
  • Update and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Review financial data for accuracy and completeness before submission to the Financial Manager.

Internal Controls and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of financial controls.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or irregularities in financial records.

Process Improvement

  • Contribute to the evaluation and enhancement of accounting processes and procedures.
  • Suggest improvements for financial reporting and record-keeping practices.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on accounting practices and software.
  • Assist in implementing new technologies or procedures to improve efficiency.

Administrative Support

  • Organize and maintain financial documents and records in an orderly manner.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to financial operations, such as filing and correspondence.
  • Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Team Collaboration and Support

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex financial issues.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to new team members or stakeholders on finance processes and systems.
