**Introduction**:Gulf University is nationally accredited University which was established 2001. GU aims to establish itself as a distinguished provider of higher education that will appeal to international, Bahraini and GCC students.

SSU at Gulf university focuses on enriching students with pioneer spirits and sustaining a strong bond between GU and its alumni by networking and engaging them in GU activities.

The alumni office is dedicated to maintaining connections with graduates from the university. This office focuses on fostering a strong sense of community among Gulf University alumni by organizing various events, creating networking opportunities, maintaining communication channels, and ensuring that the alumni database is up to date.

**1.** **Required Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma in Business Administration, event management, Sports, or a related field.
- At least one year experience or 6 months internship in a relevant field, whether in Business Administration, event organization, Sport and management.

**2.** **Preferred qualifications and experience**
- Bahraini National
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sports, or a related field.
- Minimum of one year experience related to alumni affairs, community relations or development.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English & Arabic)
- Ability to deal effectively with stress and to adapt to emerging issues.
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Strong database management skills and ability to produce detailed reports.

**4.Roles and Responsibilities - Alumni Office Coordinator**:

- Collect and organize alumni information, including contact details and professional achievements and successes.
- Manage the alumni database and it’s up-to-date and accurate.
- Implement data management practices to enhance the integrity of the alumni database.
- Respond promptly to alumni inquiries, requests, and feedback.
- Keep alumni informed about university news, events, and opportunities.
- Create and conduct surveys to gather feedback from alumni regarding their experiences and opinions.
- Use survey results to enhance alumni engagement strategies and tailor services to alumni needs.
- Create and distribute a regular newsletter featuring alumni achievements, university developments, and upcoming events.
- Curate engaging content that fosters a sense of connection and pride among alumni.
- Plan and execute alumni reunions, gatherings, and events to facilitate networking and rekindle connections.
- Coordinate logistics, venues, and activities that cater to various interests of alumni.
- Offer career development resources, job postings, and mentorship opportunities to support alumni in their professional journeys.
- Provide access to university facilities, libraries, and educational resources to foster ongoing learning.
