**Job Description**:
What you will be doing:
As a Banquet Manager, your primary role is to ensure exceptional guest service and uphold the high standards set by the hotel. Your specific duties include:

- Ensuring Quality Guest Service: It is your responsibility to consistently deliver excellent service to our guests. This includes promptly addressing their needs, resolving any issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction.
- Managing Capital Improvement Expenditures: You will be accountable for overseeing the budget allocated for capital improvements within the Banquet Department. This involves making informed decisions to enhance the department's facilities and equipment.
- Assisting Guests with Banquet Menu: You will play a crucial role in explaining the banquet menu to our guests. This includes providing detailed information about the dishes and accommodating any special dietary requirements or preferences they may have. Additionally, you will offer suitable recommendations for beverages to complement their meal.
- Setting Up Function Areas: You will be responsible for arranging and preparing rooms and function areas within the hotel for banquets and events. This entails ensuring that the layout, decorations, and equipment are all properly organized and in place.
- Clearing and Resetting Tables: After each banquet or event, you will be in charge of clearing and resetting tables. This involves efficiently removing used dishes, cutlery, and glassware, and ensuring that the tables are clean and ready for the next guests.
- Maintaining Hygiene Standards: You will strictly adhere to the highest standards of hygiene when handling and presenting food. This includes following proper food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness in the service areas, and ensuring that all food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner.

By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will contribute to the overall success of our Banquet Department and help create memorable experiences for our guests.

**Qualifications**:
Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience in a luxury hotel or related field
- Warm and caring personality; previous housekeeping experience an asset
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
