We specialize in delivering top-tier solutions and services to clients within these sectors. We deliver top tire turnaround maintenance activities for various power and petrochemical plants. Our work encompasses a wide range of critical tasks including equipment replacement, testing, cleaning, and welding, among others.

**Role Overview**:We are seeking an accomplished and experienced Lead Project Engineer to spearhead and facilitate the successful execution of our turnaround maintenance projects. The Lead Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in orchestrating various facets of the project, ensuring seamless task execution, adherence to timelines, and strict compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Take charge of planning, coordination, and management across all phases of the turnaround maintenance project, from initiation to completion.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. This includes supervising tasks such as:
Fabrication and replacement of the flue gas desulfurization (FGD) duct
Gas-Gas Heater (GGH) heat elements and baskets replacement
Hydrotesting
Boiler and ash cleaning
Replacement of boiler tubes and U bends
Removal and reinstallation of boiler manual, control, motor-operated, and PSV valves
Tube plugging
Cutting and welding of boiler casing and ducts
Expansion joint replacement
Flange surface lapping
Blinding and de-blinding activities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these targets.
- Allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure the timely execution of tasks.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, while maintaining a strong focus on safety.
- Ensure that all activities adhere to regulatory guidelines, quality standards, and company policies.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential challenges.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, and continuous improvement among project team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in successfully managing complex projects within the Power, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, or related industries, specifically involving shutdown (turnaround) maintenance activities similar to those listed above.
- Exhibit an in-depth comprehension of turnaround maintenance activities, encompassing equipment replacement, welding, testing, and related processes.
- Showcase impeccable organizational and multitasking skills, characterized by a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in utilizing project management tools and software to plan, monitor, and report on project progress.
- Possess exceptional leadership and communication prowess, both written and verbal.
- Display the ability to adeptly manage and motivate diverse teams.
- Boast strong problem-solving acumen and an aptitude for adapting to evolving project demands.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
