Inventory Controller

An inventory controller is responsible for ensuring that the company’s stock level is aligned with the business needs. Duties include the need to understand the company demand, products specifications, stock level and forecasting based on business turnover.
Inventory controller is responsible for the database and materials control system to maintain updated and accurate records of inventory including transfer and month closing. The typical career advancement for a purchasing assistant is in a managerial or specialist position
- Oversee Inventory and supply process according to company guideline and business needs.
- Forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
- Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock.
- Performing regular stock checks and reporting any issues to the line manager.
- In charge of the main store and the outsource warehouse to maintain records of the materials and track the inbound and outbound movements.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, month closing and internal transfers.
- Maintain updated records of purchase orders, pricing reports, high volume, and high-cost products.
- Manage, maintain and update the inventory & materials control system.
- Processing and documenting as required following established procedures.
