**Position**:Store Manager
**Reports To**:Retail Support Team

**Expectations and Pay**
Full responsibilities and how to achieve success in all areas of your role will be covered in your induction and in store training.

**Pay**:Monthly salary structured around your store’s annual turnover and profitability.
**Location**:You will manage one store and are required to attend Manager’s Meetings. On returning to your store, you will be responsible for communicating messages from the meetings to your team. Any regional training or development sessions scheduled by the Support Team are a required part of your development. You may be given the opportunity to support other local shops.
**Hours**:Your contracted hours. Store Managers should be prepared to contribute to staff meetings and stock take, being flexible to the needs of the business with reasonable notice. This includes being available to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended mall hours.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
As a **Store Manager **at Lush you bring enthusiasm and passion for the Lush brand through a fresh and authentic customer, staff, and shop experience. You embody all the Essential Components of a Lush retail employee. Putting all of your Management Development training into practice, you will work with your management team to run the store.

**Customer Experience**:

- Customer Service:

- Lead by example and offer a tailored customer experience through active listening, genuine curiosity, and expert brand and product knowledge
- Demonstrate open body language, enthusiasm and create an engaging environment
- Be adaptable to different customer needs and adjust to varied traffic patterns
- Actively demonstrate products as part of the customer experience
- Using Random Acts of Kindness to make your customer’s day when you feel they need it the most
- Building the Brand:

- Educate customers on our brand values including Fighting Animal Testing, Fresh Cosmetics,

Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade and Naked Packaging.
- Create a shop environment where our brand values are brought to life in the shop’s practices and the staff can speak to the company’s messages.
- Overseeing a professional, on brand presence on all social media channels your store use
- Driving Sales:

- Having a good level of awareness of the shop floor including urgency to help customers and excellent communication with the team
- Ensure the development of all team members has the 5-star customer experience as the main objective
- Develop your leaders to ensure they are modeling best behaviors, coaching in your absence, and maintaining your high expectations in all their responsibilities

- Demonstrate appreciation and encouragement through feedback and praise, be genuine with your coaching and training. Use the EEC model when giving feedback.

- Working as a team with everyone in the store, supporting each other and contributing to a vibrant atmosphere with a happy team and customers
- Succession Planning:

- Delegate tasks and projects in the shop with the intention of career growth and promote staff opportunities for career growth.

**Lush MENA**
- Work closely with the Trainee Manager to establish goals and vision for the store, keeping the customer experience, ethical selling, team development, sales and profitability as your main priorities by aiming to spend 80% of your working week on the shop floor.
- Assess your business strategically to understand your staff and skill needs and prepare your team to fill future roles you have anticipated and planned for.
- Recruitment and Promotions:

- Take an active role in the staffing of your shop with top-performing staff.
- Lead by example by following the clear interview process, documenting your decisions and making clear and correct choices when hiring and promoting in a timely way that upholds high hiring standards.

- Policies and Procedures:

- Run a tight ship in which your staff are aware and comply with company standards for time & attendance, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health & safety.
- Ensure your leadership team and staff are equipped with the knowledge and understanding to follow all business processes to perfection
- Ensure the team are accurate and efficient on the till and with cash/credit card handling
- Carry out opening and closing procedures efficiently and to a high standard including opening and closing the tills and sorting paperwork
- Maintain appropriate cost control in all areas including, wastage, staff
