Job Description

The position of Compliance Investigator requires a seasoned professional to lead and execute internal investigations, emphasizing compliance with industry standards and anti-corruption laws. The role involves coordinating with other functions to report findings and recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct internal investigations independently, focusing on compliance standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to report findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Identify and evaluate compliance risk areas and suggest remediation actions.
  • Assist in conducting country compliance reviews/audits and desktop audits of global operations.
  • Prepare investigative reports and financial analyses for management.
  • Help identify and address process gaps and non-compliant conduct.
  • Design and deliver investigations training to non-Compliance investigators.
  • Support other compliance projects as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience leading internal investigations and managing related caseloads.
  • Knowledge of FCPA & UK Bribery Act principles and practices.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.
  • Strong research, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking, and project management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion handling sensitive matters, understanding privilege issues.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and experience with case intake databases like EthicsPoint.

Benefits

  • Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of legal, compliance, or investigations experience.
  • At least 3 years supporting or leading fraud or anti-corruption investigations.
