Job Title: IT Infrastructure Lead

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Architect to oversee the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design: Oversee the installation and configuration of new and existing servers and network infrastructure.
  • Testing and Analysis: Supervise testing and analysis of all components of network and server infrastructure components.
  • IT Roadmap: Establish and maintain an IT infrastructure architecture and technology roadmap to meet the current/projected needs of the project.
  • Service Delivery Model: Establish and maintain an appropriate service delivery model that is effective, efficient, and meets business objectives.
  • Compliance: Ensure recommended technology infrastructure is in line with best practices and meets IT, business, and key external stakeholders' requirements.
  • Support: Support IT audits and compliance reviews, ensuring infrastructure and security processes are compliant with security, audit, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Team Management: Oversee team deliverables and report any flags in timelines, budget, quality.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations, architecture, governance, and infrastructure management with strong IT process background.
  • Knowledge and experience with Amazon Cloud-based applications is a must.
  • Maintain state-of-the-market knowledge regarding current and future infrastructure technologies.
  • Experience working with third-party software and service providers.
  • Experience in contract management and oversight.
  • Experience evaluating various hardware and software and service resources to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential benefits fit for business needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas or technologies in easy-to-understand business terms to senior leaders.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Preferred Candidate: A valid Bahraini driving license and presence in Bahrain at the time of application.
