Job Title: Financial Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Administrative Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and processing of daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts payable and receivable records, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of daily financial transactions, including payroll and accounts payable.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation, including ledgers, journals, and spreadsheets.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
  • Monitor accounts for discrepancies and report findings to management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is an asset.
  • Accounting designation or enrollment required, with knowledge of financial systems such as Opera, Micros, POS, and Excel.
  • Hotel experience preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with future log & product software.
