About the Role

The Chief Risk Management Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective risk management frameworks across the organization. This includes identifying potential areas of vulnerability and risk, developing corrective action plans, and providing guidance on how to mitigate risks.

The role also involves monitoring and testing compliance activities, performing sufficient and representative compliance testing, and providing reports to senior management and the Board of Directors.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of risk management principles, practices, and methodologies, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective risk management frameworks across the organization.
  • Identify potential areas of vulnerability and risk, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and test compliance activities, and perform sufficient and representative compliance testing.
  • Provide reports to senior management and the Board of Directors on compliance activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness of risk management practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's preferred).
  • ICAE certification or equivalent CAMS certification or equivalent FRM or PRM; or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, and AML/CFT.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
