The role of the Human Resources Specialist is to execute HR-related tasks on a professional level and collaborate closely with the HR team in supporting various HR functions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding, policy implementation, training, performance management, public relations, and HRIS.
- Serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns is an essential aspect of this role.
- If required, investigating and resolving employee relations issues, conflicts, and complaints is also a key responsibility.
- Conducting exit interviews and analyzing feedback are additional duties that require attention to detail.
This role plays a crucial part in the recruitment and onboarding process, which involves:
- Conducting new employee onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Liaising with government bodies to complete necessary work permits approvals, including visa issuance, insurance, and other external government requirements.
- Managing the employee database and HRIS to maintain accurate records.
The Human Resources Specialist assists with performance appraisal processes, provides guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement plans, and identifies training needs and coordinates with the Learning and Development team to implement training materials.
HR Administration and ComplianceThis role entails maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy, preparing HR reports and presentations, and assisting with HR projects and initiatives while ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess a university degree qualification in any discipline or a Bachelor's degree in HR Management, along with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HR/PRO.
