Financial Leadership Opportunity
">This leadership role involves overseeing the development and implementation of financial plans to ensure accurate data and analyses are developed to guide senior management's decision making.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive financial strategy and oversee its execution by performing and delegating related activities.
- Translate the corporate strategy into functional business plans and oversee their execution to provide required support to operations.
- Guide the preparation and monitoring of business plans and annual budgets, in line with company objectives.
Financial Planning and Reporting
- Direct the development of budgeting plans, guidelines, timetables, and templates, and ensure proper dissemination of all supporting budgeting materials to internal departments and divisions.
- Lead the development of long-term and short-term revenue and cost financial plans to ensure alignment with market evolution and strategic objectives.
- Oversee individual BU reported revenue and cost details to ensure accuracy of reports at granular level based on actual performance.
- Guide the development of variance analysis reports to identify discrepancies between forecasted and actual costs.
- Lead the development of contingency plans and/or safety reserves used to mitigate unexpected drops in funding levels.
- Oversee negotiation activities and alignment with BUs, technical functions, and support functions to ensure accuracy of estimated expenditure requirements.
- Ensure provision of requested details and reports to External Auditors, Internal Audit, and Government Audit in a timely manner.
Financial Performance
- Monitor organization's financial position (e.g., cash on hand, projected cash flow) and metrics (e.g., NPV, ROI) to ensure accuracy of financial advice.
- Direct deep-dives and liaise with Strategy & Governance team as required to ensure necessary support for senior management financial decision making.
- Provide pricing support to BUs and lead review of new products' profitability, incentives, and commissions profitability.
- Direct support provided for Procurement team to ensure selection of most suitable payment terms and conditions in contracts.
People Management
- Provide effective leadership across Business Finance department, setting individual objectives, reviewing performance, developing, and motivating employees.
- Coordinate team activities to ensure efficient work completion in line with annual business plans, policies, and procedures.
- Approve workforce plan and oversee staff hiring, performance management, and training activities to attract, develop, and retain talent.
Change Management and Continuous Improvement
- Lead identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of department's systems, processes, and practices considering international best practices.
- Approve department's organization change plans focusing on leading strategic innovation to drive change and meet future digitalization needs.
- Research regional and global market trends to stay up-to-date with best practices and drive relevant initiatives.
Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure divisional reports are prepared timely and accurately meeting organizational requirements.
- Participate in various committees presenting annual and periodic reports contributing to speedy and high-quality decision making.
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures, quality standards, and legislative requirements.
