We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced facilities manager to contribute to the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to maximize system uptime and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and system failures in a timely and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, and installations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Project Management:
- Manage small to medium-scale facilities projects, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations.
- Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and track progress to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Prepare and process requests for quotations (RFQs) from vendors for maintenance services, repairs, and equipment.
- Evaluate vendor quotes for cost-effectiveness and technical compliance.
- Assist in the procurement process for facility-related goods and services.
- Maintain organized records of vendor contracts, quotations, and purchase orders.
- Assist with budget tracking and expense reporting for facility operations and projects.
- Prepare routine administrative reports as required.
- Energy Management And Sustainability:
- Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve environmental sustainability.
- Monitor energy consumption and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on current energy efficiency technologies and best practices.
- Safety And Compliance:
- Conduct regular facility inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and protocols related to facility operations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Respond to and manage facility-related emergencies.
- Documentation And Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and project documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on facility performance, energy consumption, and project status.
- Develop and update building system drawings and documentation.
