Senior IT Support Specialist
This role is perfect for a highly skilled and experienced IT professional who is looking to take their career to the next level. As a Senior IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to staff and clients, ensuring that all computer systems and applications are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware and Software Installation: Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, system drivers, and applications to ensure they meet the required specifications and are compatible with existing systems.
- Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as printers, scanners, Wi-Fi devices, and other peripherals to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor computer systems and applications to identify potential issues before they become major problems, and perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent data loss and system crashes.
- Remote Support: Provide remote support to staff and clients through phone or online meetings to resolve IT-related issues quickly and efficiently.
- Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and troubleshoot hardware or software faults using diagnostic tools and techniques to get systems up and running as quickly as possible.
- Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed procedures and reports to document solutions and provide valuable insights for future reference.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
A valid driving license is preferred but not essential for this role. We welcome applications from experienced IT professionals who can demonstrate their skills and qualifications.
