The role of an Operational Support Specialist is to ensure seamless support for contractors throughout their assignment. This includes managing day-to-day operational requirements, working closely with internal teams such as Payroll, Legal, and Recruitment to provide high-quality service to clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the GOSI portal and support finance in making social security contributions
  • Coordinate with public relations officers to ensure visa processing
  • Assist with office rental renewals and commercial registrations
  • Negotiate with suppliers to reduce overhead costs

Onboarding: The Operational Support Specialist will conduct pre-assignment tasks to ensure contractors start on time and in a fully compliant manner. This includes scheduling drug screens and medical checks, drafting and issuing assignment contracts, and managing visa, travel, or logistics involved in mobilization.

Ongoing Contractor Care: The specialist will provide support to contractors during their assignments, ensuring they can focus on their roles/projects. This includes regular check-ins, completion of client/project/site-specific training, and support with audits as needed.

Offboarding: The Operational Support Specialist will deliver end-of-assignment support to contractors, facilitating the return of company equipment/tools, issuing end-of-assignment contractual documents, and managing visa, travel, or logistics involved in de-mobilization.

Requirements
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Facilities management experience beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in coordinating visas and onboarding
  • Experience working with governmental departments
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
