Trainer Specialist for Food Safety and Quality

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated individual to conduct public and in-house training that addresses the training needs on Food Safety, Quality Health and Safety Environment (QHSE), and related topics, aligned with local and international standards and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Managing complex training activities in Food Safety & QHSE.
- Developing course and workshop materials in line with international standards and client requirements.
- Evaluating trainees through assessments to achieve effective certification.
- Sharing expert knowledge on legal, regulatory, and industry segments.
- Maintaining accurate training records and documentation for compliance.
- Planning and delivering training activities effectively and timely, providing technical support to sales.
- Conducting training sessions based on client needs, adhering to established standards.
- Maintaining current professional knowledge, credentials, and certifications.
- Supporting and mentoring junior trainers as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards such as QHSE, ISO, and legal requirements.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in microbiology, veterinary, engineering, HSE, science, or relevant fields.
- Certifications in IRCA, HABC, Train The Trainer, Level 4 Food Safety & HACCP.
- ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 & 22000 certifications.
- Pre-qualification as a Trainer from Municipality.
- 3 years' experience with a degree or 8 years' with a diploma in a similar training field.
- Experience in recognized organizations is an advantage.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Data gathering, analysis, and reporting.
- Training needs analysis, curriculum design, instructional development.
- Training operations, delivery, and evaluation.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality auditing.
- Business process management and improvement.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
