Senior Nuclear Safety Manager

At RESO, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nuclear Safety Manager to join our team in strengthening the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA).
We lead a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called Strengthening Egyptian Nuclear Safety and Radioprotection Regulatory Infrastructure. Our goal is to ensure a safe and secure environment for all stakeholders involved.
Job DescriptionThis position will play a crucial role in supporting our core team during the implementation of this project. As a Senior Nuclear Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our work meets the highest standards of nuclear safety and radioprotection.
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen the nuclear safety and radioprotection regulatory infrastructure of ENRRA
- Provide guidance and support to our team members on nuclear safety and radioprotection best practices
- Collaborate with international experts to share knowledge and expertise in the field of nuclear safety
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A university degree in science, engineering or another relevant discipline (at least Master level or equivalent diploma)
- A very good command of spoken and written English (minimum C1 Level, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR))
- At least 10 years of experience working in the field of nuclear safety
- At least 7 years of experience in project management
- Experience in managing multinational teams and working in an EU regulatory body and/or its TSO would be an asset
