Education and Training Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated Education and Training Specialist to join our team in delivering high-quality educational programs and services tailored to military personnel and their families. This role involves designing and delivering workshops, seminars, and training on deployment support, life skills, family advocacy, and emergency preparedness.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult education, social sciences, or related fields, with at least two years of experience in training development, public speaking, and group facilitation. They should also be proficient in presentation technologies and software, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Design and Deliver Educational Programs: Develop and deliver group programs and educational services tailored to military personnel and families, including deployment readiness, relocation, and financial management.
- Public Speaking and Facilitation: Facilitate public speaking events and group presentations, ensuring effective use of educational technologies, and reviewing needs assessment data for continuous improvement.
- Training and Support: Conduct pre- and post-deployment briefings, support Family Advocacy Program initiatives, and serve as a point of contact for case management services.
The successful candidate will be able to interpret program data and feedback for improvements, with experience in developing tailored training materials for military families. A Bachelor's degree in adult education, social sciences, or related fields, or equivalent experience, is required for this position.
