The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the Head of Compliance & MLRO in developing and implementing an effective compliance program. This includes creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes across various jurisdictions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance, reviewing sanctions activity and high-risk alerts, and escalating compliance issues to senior management as needed.
Bachelor's degree and relevant professional qualifications, such as ACAMS or ICA Diploma, are essential requirements for this position. Additionally, candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within payments or banking, with a focus on financial crime compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program across various jurisdictions
- Review and analyze sanctions activity and high-risk alerts
- Evaluate and escalate compliance issues to senior management as necessary
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks and developments
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Relevant professional qualification, such as ACAMS or ICA Diploma
- At least 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance within payments or banking
- Expertise in regulatory compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of AML/CT risks and controls
- Proficiency in report writing and office applications
