Senior Engineering Leadership Role

This is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing a team of distributed engineers to optimize Ubuntu integration for the latest IoT and server-class hardware platforms and software stacks.

  • Lead a team of engineers to design and implement best-in-class Ubuntu integration for cutting-edge hardware platforms and software stacks
  • Engage with commercial partners to deliver an exceptional, optimized, first-class Ubuntu experience on their platforms
  • Cultivate your team through coaching, mentoring, leading by example, and providing constructive feedback
  • Oversee commercial engagements and ensure timely delivery on agreed project milestones
  • Maintain strict quality and reliability standards across all projects
About You:
  • You have extensive experience working with Linux distributions, Debian packaging, and high-performance, server-class hardware
  • Proven ability to work directly with customers, resolve technical issues, interpret business challenges, and effectively communicate solution value
  • Strong track record of managing or leading teams of software engineers
  • Understanding of agile software development methodologies and willingness to adapt
