At our establishment, we are looking for a skilled professional to take on the role of Customer Ambassador.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Effectively greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Communicate with other staff members to ensure seamless service delivery, including informing colleagues about client bookings, needs, requests, allergies, and special events.
  • Maintain the restaurant's high standards by adhering to its Reception Sequence of Service.
  • Coordinate table bookings by drawing up client reservations, ensuring tables are set before clients' arrival, and updating the floor plan to maximize bookings.
  • Manage the front desk by receiving incoming calls, greeting guests, and addressing customer inquiries while maintaining the restaurant's standards.
  • Inform guests about table availability and direct them to their designated seats.
  • Collaborate with the management team and other staff members to address customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor and respond to restaurant emails as necessary, bringing attention to important matters when required.
  • Optimize reservation management to increase the number of covers, utilizing systems such as Sevenrooms booking and Opentable.
  • Confirm large group reservations with the Manager on duty prior to acceptance.
  • Verify next-day reservations via phone call, allocating the correct tag on the booking system.
  • Retrieve information on reservation availability from the system.
  • Modify or cancel existing reservations as needed.
  • Present a well-groomed appearance at all times, adhering to the restaurant's personal appearance standards.
  • Timely communicate all guest information, such as reservations notes, birthdays, allergies, and special comments, to the Manager on duty.
  • Report any security concerns to the Manager on duty.
Requirements and Qualifications

We require an individual with previous experience working as a hostess/host.

The ideal candidate must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
