Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Fit-out Supervisor to oversee the successful execution of maintenance and fit-out works on-site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance management, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards during all maintenance and fit-out works on-site.
  2. Monitor daily activities of technicians, contractors, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Coordinate schedules for preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance works, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruption to operations.
  4. Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and management to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
  5. Review and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications related to fit-out and maintenance works, identifying potential issues and developing solutions.
  6. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work progress and compliance with safety regulations, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
  7. Identify and resolve technical or operational issues during execution, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  8. Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment required for the job, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  9. Check workmanship and materials used to meet quality standards, taking corrective action when necessary.
  10. Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  11. Report any deviations and recommend corrective measures, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  12. Enforce safety rules and ensure workers follow safety protocols, maintaining a safe working environment.
  13. Report incidents/accidents and conduct safety toolbox talks regularly, promoting a culture of safety awareness.
  14. Assign tasks to maintenance staff, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance, supporting employee development and growth.
  15. Train and support workers to improve efficiency and workmanship, implementing process improvements as necessary.
  16. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and fit-out works completed, providing detailed reports and analysis.
  17. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  18. Ensure proper handover of completed works with required documentation, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  19. Monitor labor, materials, and equipment usage to control costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant technology platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as required.
