Logistics Support Specialist

This role involves providing direct support to the Regional Director and US Navy CHRIMP activities at NSA Bahrain.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing oral briefs, point papers, electronic presentations, and comprehensive reports related to Regional CHRIMP Center (RCC) site inspection results.

They will also provide direct input to the RCC/HMC Standard Operating Procedures to include updates and distribution for the Regional Directors.

In addition, they will check compliance information collected and consolidate it for final reporting up the chain of command.

The Logistics Support Specialist will provide metrics in the required format, compiling and presenting business operations data and trends for the Regional Director and RCC's in a clear and concise manner.

They will also provide new performance and compliance metrics, and improved data capture techniques to reduce workload.

The candidate will analyze customer problems, identify possible courses of action, provide recommendations for customer consideration, and follow up with guidance or training as needed.

Proficiency in MS Office products is required.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a NACI clearance
  • Associates degree or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years' related experience
  • Experience in DoD and/or Commercial Logistics/Inventory Management, US Navy HAZMAT management or equivalent experience
  • Experience utilizing the Navy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software AND/OR HMMC

Bachelor's degree and additional desired experience and skills are also highly valued.
