As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's IT systems.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to staff members, ensuring that they have access to the tools and resources they need to perform their duties effectively.

Your primary focus will be on setting up new staff members with the necessary IT equipment and software, including Office 365 and laptops. You will also be responsible for managing and updating existing user accounts in Office 365 and Active Directory, as well as ensuring that user laptops are compliant with current security measures.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be tasked with managing and tracking IT assets, documenting changes using both IT and finance systems, and ordering consumables as needed. You will also be responsible for assisting with submitting payment requests and following up with external providers.

Another key aspect of this role is maintaining and updating IT support guides and processes, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. You will also be responsible for ensuring that employee laptops are kept up to date with the latest Windows updates, drivers, and anti-virus software.

Requirements
  • Experience working in a technical support role
  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Active Directory
