Role Overview

The Software Product Management Director - Innovation and Growth will lead product development strategies across multiple domains, aligning teams and fostering collaboration to drive business growth.

This role involves managing cross-functional teams, conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and gathering customer feedback to identify opportunities.

The successful candidate will communicate their product vision, prioritize tasks effectively, and oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead product development strategies across multiple domains, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
  • Communicate product vision, status updates, and key decisions to ensure alignment and manage expectations.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery.

 

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Exceptional academic results and a strong understanding of Linux and the open source software community.
  • Familiarity with computer architecture, application development, data centers, cloud computing, or devices.
  • A passion for writing about technologies and the tech landscape.
  • A strong work ethic and personal interests aligned with the open source movement.
  • Curiosity and a habit of continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in managing distributed teams across different time zones and fostering collaboration and innovation.
