Strategic IT Leadership Role

We are expanding our operations into new markets, offering an exciting opportunity for a visionary IT professional to drive innovation and growth in the Islamic banking and fintech sectors globally.


Main Responsibilities
  • Drive Improvement of IT Governance Frameworks: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance overall efficiency and service delivery by streamlining processes and optimizing resources, resulting in improved productivity and reduced costs.
  • Oversee Risk/Compliance Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk effectively, adhering to industry standards and best practices, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our customers and partners.
  • Collaborate on Data Governance Frameworks: Work closely with team members to establish and maintain robust data governance policies, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the organization, supporting informed decision-making and business growth.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Develop and implement strategies to meet required quality and strategic standards for Requests for Proposal (RFPs), maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and expectations, building trust and loyalty with our clients.
  • Manage IT Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Initiatives: Serve as the single point of contact for ESG initiatives within the organization, promoting sustainable practices and responsible growth, contributing to a positive impact on the environment and society.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field; Master's highly preferred: Demonstrating advanced knowledge and expertise in IT, including proficiency in relevant technologies and tools.
  • Minimum 15 years operational experience working in IT, with at least 5 years experience in IT leadership positions managing cross-functional project teams and driving business growth: Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business results, with a strong understanding of IT governance, budget planning, and organizational change management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence senior internal and external stakeholders: Building strong relationships and driving collaboration across functions, departments, and geographies, communicating effectively with various audiences and stakeholders.
