Job Summary

This Data Governance Engineer role involves working with our Commercial Systems unit to enable secure and well-governed access to comprehensive data sets originating from multiple internal and external sources. The team uses well-known open-source data governance tools such as Trino and Ranger, defines data governance processes, and democratizes data at RESO.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include defining, monitoring, and executing data governance policies; designing, implementing, and maintaining data labeling and quality metrics in the data catalog; deploying and operating services developed by the team; providing career development feedback; and promoting great engineering and organizational practices.

A successful candidate should have strong written and spoken English skills, excellent presentation abilities, and a personal drive to meet commitments.

  • Excellent academic track record.
  • Technical undergraduate degree or compelling narrative about alternative chosen path.
  • Data quality, governance, and security processes and tools expertise.
  • Strong Python and SQL programming language skills.
