Sales and Account Management
The Global Account Manager plays a crucial role in navigating the globalization of the travel industry by leveraging worldwide and regional networks. This position is dedicated to delivering customized global travel solutions and customer care.
Key Responsibilities
- Elaborate, negotiate, implement, monitor, and manage global, regional or multinational agreements for large Travel Management Companies, Online Travel Agencies (OTA), and Global Corporations to maximize revenue and increase market share while protecting Cost of Sales and Margins.
- Prospect, negotiate, and manage the commercial relationship with a portfolio of global, regional, or multinational accounts.
- Develop new sales through acquisition and include local opportunities into existing global agreements.
Contract Management
- Collect and interpret comprehensive Gulf Air, Industry, and customer data.
- Analyze contract performance and customer loyalty.
- Responsible for development and maintenance of Global Trade and Corporate clients' contracts.
- Perform quarterly review with clients, provide data reports, and develop account action plans.
Reporting and Communication
- Internal reporting includes weekly reports, monthly RFP status reports, and quarterly in-depth portfolio reports.
- Communicate with customers on a regular basis and propose corrective actions when needed.
Education and Experience
Minimum 2 years of Account Management experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
