Accounting Professional

Job Description:

Our organization seeks a seasoned accounting professional to oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and statements. The ideal candidate will apply sound accounting principles and procedures to ensure timely and precise financial management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with precision and accuracy.
  • Analyze and compile financial information for the preparation of financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Implement effective accounting and control procedures to maintain compliance.
  • Monitor and review accounting system reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in budget preparation and review.
  • Ensure all financial and regulatory reporting deadlines are met with ease.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure a smooth audit process.
  • Generate and review financial management reports.
  • Prepare payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents with care.
  • Communicate billing invoices and accounting policies to vendors and clients effectively.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
  • Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for our automated financial systems.
  • Interact with internal and external auditors to ensure a seamless audit process.
  • Provide accounting policy orientation for new staff members.
  • Adhere to our company's overall internal procedures and policies at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as required from time to time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Commerce.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Knowledge of regulatory rules and requirements relevant to the role.
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Preference for bilingual candidates.
  • Relevant professional qualifications are desirable.
  • Knowledge of international and local accounting standards.
  • Understanding of cash management and cash control principles and methods.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and budgets effectively.
  • Capacity to synthesize and organize complex information for analysis.
  • Skill in performing advanced data analysis using prescribed tools accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to generate insightful commentary on financial and business information and performance.
  • Flexibility to work according to organizational needs.
