We're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Architect Lead to join our team. In this role, you'll advise customers on solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for their needs. You'll work closely with customers to understand their business and technical challenges, and help them achieve the greatest value from our cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise customers on solutions and provide technical guidance
  • Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
  • Develop trusting relationships with customers and understand their business needs and technical challenges
  • Drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
  • Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role as a Technical Account Manager, Consultant, Solutions Architect, Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or Cloud Architect
  • Understanding of operational parameters and troubleshooting for two or more areas, such as Compute, Storage, Networking, CDN, Databases, Dev Ops, Big Data and Analytics, Security, Architecture, or Applications Development
  • External customer-facing experience with the ability to clearly articulate to small and large audiences
  • Ability to juggle tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional experience with AWS and/or other cloud offerings such as Azure, Google Cloud Platform
  • Programming or scripting skills with a combination of Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP
  • Understanding of Dev Ops practices and tools, including Continuous Integration/Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef, etc.
